Ode to My Refrigerator

This is perhaps my most successful attempt at poetry ever. Enjoy!

How do I love thee, let me count the ways
Filled so full of happy days
I take from thee an unspoilt ham
And give thee back nought again
Apples crisp remain in thee
I don’t remember buying this cheese
A gallon of milk, a loaf of bread
A jar of pickles, and jam so red
Thine icy heart brings warmth to me
I think I’ll have some nachos.

Guess what I was doing when I composed it.

I think I should start a blog on what it was like raising a kid with a brain like yours :-)
